PETITION

From the East

My Honored Queen installation was all that I could ever wish for and more! All my Jobie friends were there to support me and my family was there too. I think that being Honored Queen will be a good, life building experience for me and I can’t wait to get started planning all that I need to plan and hopefully doing very well at my OV. This is going to be good for me as a person and it will help me grow from a crazy, slightly shy girl who doesn’t know how to take charge and doesn’t know how to plan anything into a confidence, smart, fabulous woman. I cant wait until the younger girls in my bethel get to the honored queen position and can feel the type of excitement and nervousness that I feel and they grow as woman also. I will be so proud to watch them get crowned as honored queen. I want to thank everyone who has supported me in the decision to become honored queen and I want to thank you for continuing to support me through my term.

Sincerely, Alysa P.
Bethel #71 Honored Queen

From the Guardian

Hard to believe it is already July 2010! As usual Bethel #71 has stayed very busy. Springtime found us participating in several activities including a visit to the Aladdin Shrine Circus, providing Masonic Service by assisting in the Aladdin Shrine Audio Unit Annual Easter Egg Hunt as well as participating in the HQ’s skating fundraiser to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy.

June got underway with high school graduations (Congratulations to Cindy, Lauren & Rachael) before we headed off to Kenyon College in Gambier Ohio to attend the 2010 Grand Session. We actually traveled with 9 Daughters this year, 5 of whom were making their 1st trip.

Congratulations to Cindy E. who is the new 2010-2011 Grand 1st Messenger and Bethany J. who is the new 2010-2011 Grand Bethel Representative to South Dakota & Missouri. Special congratulations to our very own PABG Mr. Ted Eisleben who was also elected as this years Vice AGG.

July has already been cram packed and the activities do not appear to be slowing down. On the 3rd we installed our latest group of Bethel Officers, before watching fireworks in lovely downtown Groveport, and followed on the 4th by participating in the Hilliard 4th of July Parade with other Bethel‘s of the 1st District.

I can’t say enough how excited I am about the planned events that the new Bethel Officers have in store for our Daughters! Our brand new HQ has worked very hard at putting together events that will be fun and provide lot’s of leadership opportunities. Watch for the resurgence of the Bethel #71 Jobie to Bee program and a very aggressive promotion campaign thanks to the wonderful tools provided by Grand Guardian Council Chairman of Promotions, Mrs. Brink.

As we prepare to go to JDU this coming weekend and for our Bethel 71 Line Officer overnight, I wish you all good luck and lots of hard work.
